It should have been straightforward. On the day of the wedding, however, the bartender ended up giving a roll of at least 150 drink tickets to a guest to distribute among everyone. This overwhelming number of tickets, along with the fact that several guests later informed me that the bartender didn’t collect their tickets, created total chaos. As a result, at the end of the night, my wife and I were charged for almost 100 drinks, despite having clearly communicated our limit of 80 drinks. To make matters worse, by the end of the night, a few of my guests and I still had drink tickets left. One couple later told me they had been served 12 drinks, believing that those would be charged to a separate tab. Instead of just paying for four drinks between them, we ended up covering all 12 drinks they consumed. So, although not everyone drank excessively, we found ourselves paying for far more drinks than we had originally agreed upon with the staff. After the event, we reached out to the owner to address the issue, and we were informed that it was our guest's fault for being given the tickets (they shouldn't have been given out in the first place). We were told there was nothing they could do about it, and that the responsibility lay entirely with us.

I arrived with high expectations, but was disappointed by the service. The restaurant seemed understaffed to handle the larger crowd for the Thriller on 38 event and the Bears game. The upstairs area had a nice atmosphere, but all the TVs were turned off and it was cold. The building itself is beautiful, with exposed brick and an industrial vibe. It seems like a lack of communication between the owners and managers may have contributed to the staffing issues that night. I waited at the bar for 30 minutes without being served, and eventually decided to leave. I also overheard other patrons who were trying to dine expressing their frustration and leaving as well. It's truly a shame because this place definitely has potential.

I had a wedding rehearsal brunch there and then an after-party the following night. We reserved the entire upstairs, and they kindly opened early on Saturday morning for us to decorate, and stayed open late on Sunday night. The brunch food was delicious, although it was a little slow since only one chef was available. Overall, everything was fantastic! It’s a nice venue for casual events, comfortably accommodating around 50 people, and there were restrooms upstairs, which was convenient for guests. There was also a pool table and darts available. It’s truly a great place!

The room is absolutely incredible; it was perfect for our son's second birthday party, but would also be fantastic for anything from a shower to a small wedding. The food was far from typical bar fare; we’ll be coming here weekly from now on! Our guests raved about everything, from the delicious salad to the gourmet sliders. The service was even better than that of a 5-star hotel in downtown Chicago! We truly felt like royalty today. Thank you for making our son's party so special. We can’t wait for your venue and your wonderful staff to be part of our celebrations for years to come!

The food here is outstanding and fairly priced. The staff is incredibly attentive and puts in a lot of effort, just as another reviewer pointed out. There's a great variety of drinks and specials to choose from. The patio is delightful in the summer, and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming.
