Geneva Gelato

I used Geneva Gelato for my wedding dessert and I would recommend 100% any local bride to do the same! Jeff is so sweet and easy to work. Even by planning during a pandemic and a date change, he was very helpful and friendly. We finished 4 Gelato flavor and rainbow Italian cookies, and it was the PERFECT summer treats and a fun, unique wedding dessert that guests loved! The service and professionalism were excellent. Not to mention the actual taste of every gelato taste and biscuits delicious!

Amazing Gelato! Recently studied abroad in Rome and this is probably the closest thing I’ve had to authentic Italian gelato in the states! Both classic and creative flavors. Service was only reason for 4 stars and not 5 although we still received our order relatively quickly. Definitely recommend!

I had high expectations for Geneva Gelato, but unfortunately, I was let down. I ordered the Peanut Butter Cookie and Chocolate flavors, both of which were vegan options. However, these flavors were the last ones left in the container and had been sitting for a while. The chocolate flavor had a lot of ice crystals and the Peanut Butter Cookie flavor had a sticky, syrupy texture. Additionally, they charge extra for vegan flavors, making the already high prices even more expensive. I paid almost $9.00 for the cup shown in the picture, but I could have gotten two pints of vegan Ben & Jerry's at Wegmans for the same price and better quality. They have a minimum $5.00 charge for credit card transactions, which I find acceptable. However, they also add a $0.59 surcharge for using a credit card, which I believe is unreasonable. While they claim this fee is to avoid raising prices or penalizing cash customers, I think they should just include credit card fees in their overall costs. As a small business owner, I understand that credit card fees can be costly, but in 2021, they are considered a standard operating expense. Overall, I would not recommend Geneva Gelato and will not be returning.

During our visit, we had the option of choosing from a variety of homemade sorbets and a vegan peanut butter gelato. We decided on the Limoncello Sorbet and the peanut butter gelato, both of which were outstanding! The quality was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend trying them out!

What a great find! The Gelato was fantastic, and the espresso drinks could compete with those of larger chains. I will definitely be returning to this place. The atmosphere was casual yet classy. And don't even get me started on the delicious selection of baked goods.
