Eddie O'briens Grille - Geneva

We visited during a busy time, so it’s difficult to evaluate the service accurately. Our server was friendly, but it took a while for them to greet us and bring our orders, which could have been due to the crowd. We ordered the nachos, and they were just average—I've had better and I've had worse. The drink selection is fairly standard. However, the highlight of the experience was definitely the atmosphere; it definitely has a fun Irish vibe.

I took my son there for dinner, and it was a disappointing experience. The waitress was rude, and when I pointed out that our order was incorrect, she simply said it was already made and walked away. My three-year-old son ordered a cheeseburger, which was completely raw on the inside. Calling this restaurant disappointing would be an understatement—I wouldn't return even if someone paid me.

Untrustworthy establishment. They seem to be posting fake 5-star reviews for themselves. If you look at the profiles, they are only giving Eddie's 5 stars and rating competing restaurants with 1 star. Additionally, this place struggles to keep enough staff to be open more than 20 hours a week. They need to seriously get their act together before trying to pat themselves on the back!

We started with the loaded pommes that was the right choice to curb our hunger, they were delicious. The Buffalo Bill's burger was good, but I didn't care much about the potato chips on them when they landed soggy from the burger, it was easily fixed by pushing. Also the spaghetti and the Southwest Blackened Chicken Salad were good. We enjoyed our time here.

Good food, fair prices and friendly staff. What else do you need? You'll probably love more if you're a Yankee fan.
