It's easy to write a first hit as a budding luck. good timing, first on the market, right place, right time, etc. the actual test will make it right during the second time. this really separates someone who has fled it from someone with real talent. teasing the woods cafe geelong looks like real talent. it is a new caffe that opens in myers street, created by greg and georgie matheson. they are the couple that brought us fuel cafe, which is widely considered the best cafe in geelong.

Went for a late lunch, menu was limited due to being so late on a Friday. The service was friendly & the surroundings met my daughter's criteria for "cool" cafes. The smashed avo was very generous and had great flavours.

Sparkling new cafe serving excellent coffee and simple food. Paninis and a daily salad. Lovely terrace out back. Great service

Had a an ok breakfast at Neck of the Woods recently with a work colleague. Coffee was fantastic .Breakfast choices are limited (no egg choices, which was a little disappointing, however the Ham Panini-Toasted I had was well seasoned, had a nice mustard and certainly did the job for breakfast.
