Beside The Point - Geelong

I'm a regular at Next The Point because of the great service, food coffee. This is worth a visit, betting you to become a regular :

Discovered this little jewel before a few visits and has been a stubborn customer ever since. For coffee, morning tea, lunch or a snack, I suggest you check this place at least when in the area.

We were staying at nearby apartments for the weekend, so on arrival I popped down for a hot chocolate and dessert. I chose a chocolate swirl cheesecake. It looked like a good baked cheesecake, however it was pretty awful. No base, Very heavy as well...as quite tasteless a bit like eating a block of butter. I couldn't finish it. Size was good and price was reasonable $9 for drink and cake. It's a cosy little shop with lots of outdoor tables just opposite Cunningham Pier. Staff were friendly if slightly disorganised. Our friends went down for coffee and had the hot X bun special another day and said that all the tables had dirty dishes on them they chose the table with the least. They got their buns and finished them before having to ask for their coffees again. The woman explained this business assists to train youth who are having trouble getting work. That's great, and fair enough, but they need to be supervised properly and their cooking at least tasted to make sure it's edible!

Finally, it is open again. excellent coffee. Everything's done home. Gluten-free offers. Worth a stop! Thank you.
