The Yardz - Geelong West

Had heard many good reports and decided to try it, and my friends were right. friendly service and great meals. we ate in the bistro and there is the beer garden and the bar where they can also eat. the tables are a little tight together, but the bistro was not full so it was not a problem. it was good to have the order on the table and not go into the counter and try to remember everything.

I usually love to eat here about kovid I was here a few times forgive the food due to the business pressure of a pandemic but tonight I went order a menu regular seafood pasta used to linguine was now papdel. I'm done eating here. the pasta itself was over boiled the lengths of pasta have been disassembled in pieces of sose taste was average at least nothing as a couple of years ago I assume that the kitchen staff head chef have changed but unfortunately after a very fat steak last meal... we do not often go when we do I want a good meal. so will not be back

Now, we have already been some paints to yardz and will come back, the meal times are pleasant and not expensive. in the lounge they can relax and chat about their meals, with a shout. it is a...must go to lunch.

Ate in bistro 2 adults and 2 kids. Really poor pub food quality, poor size and woeful presentation. Kids meals lashed on to the plate, looked like my 7yo son had actually made it. We had to send the salt and pepper squid back, it...was deep fried thickly battered and just awful, and that arrived in a cereal bowl. Incredible. Was not once offered to order a drink, had to do that ourselves, table half cleared. I could go on. Lastly, special mention to the tremendously bad mannered and rude dark haired girl young girl working there, wow. What a very average person to have to deal with as a customer. No staff member there said hello or thank you or goodbye, not once. Obviously never ever again and wish we hadnt gone.

Immediately upon arrival, the staff virtually pounced on us. Made us feel uneasy.One of the staff had bad attitude Menu is expensive. There were 5 of us. and the between us, the best Rating was 3/5
