The Old Flower Shop - Gedling

Didn't have food but it looked amazing what was coming out. The service was very good, its had a refurb and looks amazing. Good atmosphere and very friendly welcoming staff Will definitely be returning and trying the food menu.

We weny to The Old Flower Shop for my brothers birthday. The service was slow, it was an hour before we had our mains. The portions were small, we expected the sausage and mash and fish and chips to be decent portions, but they were not. There were very few chips and the sausages tasted shop bought. It was expensive too.

Used to absolutely love The Old Flower Shop, however it has now gone downhill. The new menu isn’t as good and has new staff who are not like the old ones. Used to be so good but now overpriced with average food.

Cocktail was amazing. However the Panna Cotta was solid with way to much gelatin. Shame as the sorbet and fruits it came with were good. Staff gave a full refund immediately as if aware it was made wrong.

I visited this restaurant for lunch a second time and once again, I was impressed by the culinary skills of the chef. The food was amazing, especially the divine chocolate brownie. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were attentive and friendly.
