We had issues with our table, which was quite uncomfortable, and while the staff apologized when we brought it up, they didn’t offer to remove the charges from our bill. This was a bit disappointing, especially considering we had been charged an extra $2.50 for cheese on our burger. The service itself was excellent, and the staff was fantastic, but I doubt we’ll return.
Fantastic spot for après-ski! This historic lodge in northern Michigan offers a charming old-world ambiance. The fireplace provides a cozy warmth, while the bartenders serve up delicious food and refreshing drinks.
The food was excellent, but it took 45 minutes to an hour for it to arrive. With only 90 minutes allocated for lunch, I started feeling anxious about getting back on the hill. We only ordered a hamburger and fries, and there were only three tables being served on a Sunday. The waitress was nice, but perhaps the cook was new.
Super crowded. We were just here to observe the skiers and sit in the lodge.
It's like going back in time. Beautiful landcape. limited menu.
