Tenuta Casteani - GAVORRANO

We stayed there three nights with 6 other couples to attend a wedding at another wine resort across the valley. Vale and her family and staff were very delightful and accommodating. Outstanding breakfast and a great meal prepared for all of us one night. Very good wine made there too. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

We had two dinners there, being guest at the resort. One dinner was à la carte, limited selection but excellent home made food. All perfectly prepared and served with matching wines. Almost 5*. The other dinner was buffet, rich of quantity especially veggies. Main course was bbq local meats (cutlet, rib, sausage), upfront prepared not upon request. Nice but my score is 3.5* at best.
