We had lunch here while visiting Belver and the food was unpretentious, simple and delicious. I had ‘alheira’ and the kids shared a steak. The staff was kind to split their portion in two and add an extra egg so that they could both have one.

Experimentámos e repetimos no dia seguinte. Comida maravilhosa, principalmente os pratos de peixe, para todos os que querem deliciar se com a gastronomia norte alentejana. O serviço é um pouco demorado mas os empregados bastante simpáticos, com destaque para a sra. Elisabete. Não deixar de provar a sopa de peixe (que precisa de reserva com antecedência por ser um prato demorado). We tried it and we repeated the experience the next day. Wonderful food, especially the fish dishes, perfect for everyone who wants to enjoy the gastronomy from the north of Alentejo. The service is a bit slow, but the waitresses are very friendly. The sopa de peixe (traditional fish and bread soup) is a must try, even though it needs to be reserved as it takes a lot of time time to prepare.

A little bit of hospitality goes a long way something this restaurant’s staff can learn. From the moment you entered they make you feel as if you should be lucky to be there... then we are asked to all sit in a row on a table of 6 due to distancing which makes no sense at all and not something that any other restaurant implements.

Escolhemos este restaurante por estar muito bem classificado e não nos desiludiu. Pratos saborosos, a atenção dos colaboradores e a rapidez no atendimento. Ótimo ambiente. Restaurante típico. Voltaremos em breve.
