It's conveniently situated in downtown Hull, though parking can sometimes be difficult. I wouldn't suggest it for those seeking a fancy gourmet experience, but if you're in the mood for delicious, traditional wood oven pizza, this is the place to go.
This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I ordered the Aloha pizza, which was essentially a Hawaiian pizza with extra vegetable toppings. The food was tasty and satisfying, although the pizza crust was very thin and a bit challenging to eat. Despite this, it was still quite delicious. The prices were a bit high, but it seems to be the norm nowadays for dining out. The menu format was unique to me as it was QR code menus, although I personally prefer traditional menus. Unfortunately, there was no English section in the menu, but I was able to navigate through it with my basic knowledge of French. The staff were friendly and helpful in overcoming any language barriers. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, marred only by a few uninvited wasp guests during the summer (which was not the restaurant's fault). The outdoor patio seating was lovely, aside from the pesky wasps that decided to join us.
The service was top-notch and the Zorba Salad was delicious in its simplicity. The Retro Pizza was good, but it could have used a little more flavor - perhaps a zestier sauce would have enhanced it. The fresh ingredients were a definite highlight. I had a great overall experience and would definitely come back to try something new next time, just to see what other options the menu has to offer.
We ordered water and salads, one with trout that was tasty, and one with vegetables, mostly made with iceberg lettuce. The service was good, but the atmosphere on the terrace was strange with loud music coming from various sources, creating a noisy environment. This basic meal for two people ended up costing nearly $50, including tax and tip.
During my visit to Ottawa-Gatineau, I was looking for gluten-free options and was pleased to find a delicious gluten-free pizza at this restaurant. It can be hit or miss with gluten-free pizzas, but this one was perfect - not too chewy or hard. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pizzas are a bit small for the price, especially if you want more toppings. Additionally, the website was not clear about the time restrictions for online orders (ending at 5 o'clock) or in-person orders (ending at 6 o'clock). Despite these minor issues, the food was amazing, flavorful, and the staff was very friendly.
