Toby Carvery - Gateshead

The food at this restaurant was delicious, with beautifully carved meat by John and lovely vegetables by Ian. The service from Emily, Alan, and Amber was exceptional, and they made our family meal a memorable experience. Thank you!

After a stressful shopping trip with three children, followed by an argument over where to eat, I spotted the Toby Carvery and we went there. Perfect for everyone. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, the food was excellent. The children loved it and so did I. Brilliant restaurant at a very reasonable price. Thank you.

We would have really enjoyed our meal if the food had been hot. Sadly it wasnt so the whole experience was spoilt. A shame because our waitress (Jessica) was really friendly.

Came for my dads birthday for a family meal and the food was stunning, the meat was so tender and tasty and the rest of the veg, mash, Yorkshires and gravy was to die for. Massive thank you to Emma, John, Graham and Jacob for the gorgeous food and impeccable service.

Came to Toby Carvery during an understandably busy Sunday. Booked a table for 1:50 didn’t get sat till about 2 which was fine. No one came to the table when we sat and we had to ask someone for drinks and extras ourselves. Food was amazing as always however while eating I didn't appreciate being stared at by about 4/5 young staff members which were all stood doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but chatting amongst themselves and talking about customers in a not so discreet way.
