Visited Pizza Latino Saturday night with family. £10 for 3 course meal! Brilliant value, Lovely food, definitely worth a visit!!

We are up in the area for the Great North Run. And entered the restaurant with some trepidation after having seen some of the 1 star reviews (which all seem to relate to takeaway orders, to rate so lowly is grossly unfair on the restaurant, as takeaway orders tend to have 'middle-man ' involvement such as uber eats/just eat etc). We needn 't have worried. It is a lovely independent restaurant with a traditional and authentic feel. We were served at the table by Abbie, and cooked for by Tas, who made the extra effort to come out and chat to us. The food was cooked to order and was delicious, the portion sizes were good and we left absolutely stuffed. The prices are more than fair, and I wouldn 't blame them if they charged much more as the food and service was worth it! Sadly we are not local, however next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back! And can only hope that the restaurant gets the support it deserves going forward. Thank you.
