Outback Steakhouse Gastonia

No one prepares a Filet Mignon quite like Outback! It melts in my mouth every time. The service was outstanding, and the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under was a delightful way to finish our meal.

My wife and I stopped by for dinner tonight after working at the Southern Christmas show in Charlotte all day. Despite it being busy, we were seated quickly. Our food arrived promptly, and our server recommended the chili. When I inquired about it, she assured me it was excellent—and she was right! The chili was delicious! The steak and potatoes were wonderful as always whenever we dine here.

We stopped by this restaurant on our way home and were quickly seated with no wait time. However, there was a slight delay in getting our drinks and placing our food order. Overall, the food and drinks were fantastic. The service was good; although I could see there were some staffing challenges, our waitress did her best, and I appreciate that. The food was delicious and cooked just right. Our mixed drinks—Margarita, Moscow Mule, and Mojito—were very enjoyable. Although we ended up staying longer than expected, everything went smoothly, and we left feeling satisfied.

Sydney did an excellent job during our visit. I had specifically requested no pico on my tacos due to a food allergy, but someone in the kitchen accidentally included it. Even though it wasn't her fault, Sydney apologized and brought the manager over, who kindly offered to comp my meal. I wasn't planning to complain, especially since they were willing to remake the dish for me. Their service was impressive, particularly considering they were managing a table of seven while a larger group of twenty was seated behind us. It’s no easy task to keep up with so many customers!

I dined there on Valentine's Day and was a bit disappointed, but I've since visited twice more and had fantastic experiences! The food was expertly prepared, there was no wait, and the service was quick. Our waitress both times was Chanda, and she was amazing! The first visit was good, but the second was even better. What impressed me most is that, despite these being our only two visits with her, she remembered to bring me extra ranch and A1 sauce. I was pleasantly surprised—she truly enhanced our experience. Thank you, Chanda!
