Werden Felder Hof - Garmisch

As far as German food goes, this restaurant does not disappoint. Fairly large menu and tasty food. The music and dancing at 7pm is great fun too to make you feel like you're really in Bavaria. Remember to bring euro coins to tip the young dancers.

It was one of the best restaurant we have eaten since arriving in Garmish! Great atmosphere and food for a great price. They also have live entertainment! Highly recommend!

We ate here two nights out of our five night stay. The pork medallions, Steinpilzen, and steaks were great - served with Knodel or bratkartoffeln. Don't expect nouvelle cuisine but do expect great local food, great atmosphere and to put on a few pounds if you're not doing a lot of walking or climbing.

If you want to eat authentic Bavarian meals and watch the Schuplatte dancers, this is the place of you to go when you are in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Located on beautiful Ludwigstrasse, you will meet the owners Herbert and Manuela, who treat everyone like family. Everything is cooked to order and is fresh from breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night snacks.
