Last holiday day in Garmisch. From the afternoon rain began. With our umbrellas, we made our way around 18.30 to take our last meal in Garmisch. It wasn't that easy. Due to the rain we had to knock out some restaurants to find a place in a dry guest room. Unfortunately, we, who had not reserved, were kindly rejected everywhere with the regret that the restaurant is full. Our last hope was the Golden Angel in the Bankgasse. Before us, five people were waiting to enter the guest room. It took a while until a burschikosian waiter appeared at the entrance in the cranial leathers. It turned out that the five had reserved. And in their tug he could actually offer us both a table for two directly on the wall with beautiful views into the guest room even without reservation. We liked to take them in a hit. Service 4* We hardly sat, he also brought the menu to the table to request our drinks. For me a yeast wheat of Hacker-Pschorr (€0.5 l 3.80 ), for sweets a raccoon choir (0.4 l 2.80 € . Both drinks came to the table quickly and nicely cold. As far as I saw, the waiter was probably the only service in the evening. Flink, friendly and totally inexorable, he did his job. Although alone, he did not lose the overview and even took the time to question our satisfaction and whether it has tasted us during the passing at our table. By hand, at the end of the evening, the monetary one was cut to a note block. There was no cash bonus. Right after that we were kindly adopted. The food 3.5* sweetheart chose a Munich carving, filled with horseradish and roast potatoes (15,80 €). From the side table where three young women were sitting, who had received their order, a warning came over that the filling is extremely sharp. Anyway, she stayed there. Two really good-looking schnitzels, equally good-looking roast potatoes as well as a small salad decoration decorated the plate. She was happy to eat. At first everything was fine, then it started. The horseradish had it in itself. The sharpness was so high that it was very nice to sweat and then at the second shnitzel removed the filling with the horseradish. So she was able to relax and finish eating and attest that it still tasted good. Münchner Schnitzel filled with horseradish Actually I wanted to eat a beautiful haxe today. But when I saw such a homicide of Haxe at another table, I was aware that I am not sure to pack it. So I opted for half a hindquarter with dumplings and herb salad (11.80 €). Half hindquarters On the plate, a good looking backhaxe with super chessy, crispy skin wobbled. Nice. The sauce was also very tasty. The salad deco could have been saved, but I've been eating them. My decision for the HInterhaxe was right. I was fed up and was able to get the way home to the accommodation without feeling full. The ambience 3.5* Urig, Bavarian equipped with a lot of Klimbim. Lighting is a bit dark. When reading the menu, a bit more brightness would have been helpful. Overall, we felt very comfortable. Cleanliness 5* Nothing to complain. We didn't pick up the toilet. Conclusion: I had to enter the Golden Angel first on GG, he was not listed there yet. In any case, the inn is worth a visit. I recommend the rustic, Bavarian food. PLV was fine. And yes, there would have been a little less horseradish at the Munich Schnitzel. That's why a small deduction of 0.5 from me at dinner. Very rustic and cozy. The service was very nice and we tasted the food very good! The portions were big! Definitely recommended! On Sunday night we were almost the only ones in the restaurant.

After quite a research greeting was still very nice and well served. Unfortunately, the hoped original and Bavarian atmosphere did not come up properly (but unfortunately also lies at the Burgerladen next todran). The P/L ratio is very good and the portions are fine. Roulade, Haxe and Wiener Schnitzel have tasted. There is no need to be absolute if you are in CAP, but also no failure.

We are often and very happy here!!! The food is great and the portions big. Here you get something for your money! The host is always friendly and the atmosphere is great. You just feel comfortable here. The tables and menus are cleaned and disinfected after each guest. Even if there's a lot to go and sometimes you have to wait, you always realize that here everyone is doing their best and doing everything to satisfy the guests! Here you will cook yourself and fresh and you just taste it!!!
