Great place. Great location. Beautiful house, modern and cozy. Stunning views onto Alpspitz and Zugspitze. Excellent starting point for hikes and skiing. Wonderful service, helpful, caring, attentive and very kind. Great local food (Kaiserschmarrn, schlupfkrapfen), very big portions. One of the best places we have stayed in. Also very child and vegetarian friendly. We stayed for 4 days with 4kids (5mo to 14years) and 5 adults.

Es ist immer wieder schön und erholsam bei der Familie Krause auf der Kreuzalm vorbeizukommen. Wir waren nun zum 2. Mal dort und werden sicher wiederkommen.

We spent two nights at the kreuzalm with a party of six in July for a hiking weekend. The service and food were excellent! Coffee and cake was included in the price of the room each afternoon, which was very rewarding after a long hike. They had many dinner options, all of which were delicious and not more than €12. The breakfast was also memorable: fresh fruit, rolls, meat, cheese, schinken, muesli, yoghurt, eggs...everything you could want. The style of the hotel is very modern / Bavarian / luxurious (everything newly redone, the showers are especially awesome!!) and is spacious and comfortable. You can't get views like that at a hotel in Garmisch!!!You can access many hiking paths as well as the town from the gondola (€17 one way (€27 round trip) but with a price of €65 per person per night, the overall price remains very reasonable!) In short, there is no better, cheaper hotel in Garmisch (also taking into account a few gondola rides). We would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes hiking and wants a memorable experience in Garmisch / southern Germany. Thank you kreuzalm

Wir waren mir Freunden auf der Kreuzalm und wurden soooo herzlich empfangen. Alles war wirklich sehr, sehr gut und wir haben unseren kurzen Ausflug genossen. Vielen Dank an Maria und Markus!!
