Agriturismo Serrette - Garlenda

I ate here because of the photo reviews and the tasting menu. unfortunately it was very disappointing. the tasting menu had lonza as the main course, which is a sweat! So I decided to use the a la carte menu. the ravioli was beautiful enough, sloppy presentation. although the stinco was actually half a stinco and the smallest I had ever seen. I was told that it was slowly cooked for 8 hours, which it wasn't when I saw it from the bone. the Polish waitress was very pleasant and helpful. I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it.

We had the enormous pleasure of being invited to this fantastic place. what excellent eating for a surprise staff, they could no longer wish absolutely fantastic. we had a nice day surrounded by olive trees beautiful garden, which could more anyone wish, my supplements again. to see her soon.

I can't believe that it took me 6 years to go there while I live close! beautiful environment, very romantic, with a beautiful garden, and well dressed tables. my first surprise was the prices on the menu. really good prices! great selection of antipasti, primi. and secondi with meat and fish choices. then came the plates and it was divine! beautifully presented, good portions and really delicious. maybe a bit more salt in the pasta vongole, but that would be my only criticism. the owner was very friendly and speaks English. good for those who do not speak Italian at all and they also have a menu in English.

If they want to go to serrertte, they must book in advance. it's a big ambiente. the place is not their typical “Agriturismo”, but a real restaurant, with good friendly service. we did not find that the fish extremely fresh, yet so great. the meat,...instead it's pretty good to the fiorentina and veggies all come from their backyard.

Reservation is very much recommended. Excellent food, top value for money, nice people. Good selection of wines including nice house wine.
