Ốc Ngon - Garland

Not sure why this place has such low ratings but I absolutely enjoyed our experience here (even though it was a bit expensive) the service was impeccable. All of their sauces had amazing flavor (and there were so many different sauces to try) I will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in the Dallas area. I loved their exquisite menu of amazing ingredients not found at any other restaurants. Pro tip: for the salad ask them for the sauce on the side- they put a little too much for me.

We are new to Texas and followed the directions to what we thought was Oc va Lau but I guess their name has changed to Oc Ngon so this review is for Oc Ngon. We ordered several things:-on choy salad was excellent but be careful with kids because it was very spicy -abalone was pricey but fantastic!-buttery escargot. I asked for the largest, buttery escargot but I got a plate of savory and very sweet oc. It was served with a baguette and tasted great dipping but the sweetness overwhelmed the actual shellfish. The description on the menu should mention how sweet and thick this sauce is. Next time, I'll try something different. I was looking for a plain, grilled with butter.The server was so very friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure

This is my first time coming here. The restaurant is clean and I ordered 5 dishes. The super spicy snail dish is very bad and very salty. The other dishes looked hot but when I ate them it was very cold and it made the snails eat very badly. Perhaps the kitchen was microway the dish from the refrigerator too quickly. The restaurant at that time was not so crowded that you had to be in such a hurry. never come back.

It is not for us because they made it too salty too enjoy and the oysters were horrible taste. They are still sit in the fridge so far. I do not want to throw that, sadly!

I order mango salad for to go yesterday and the salad was spoiled, order at 7pm, have dinner at 8pm, though they mixed with spoiled onion and the mango not fresh, ill, so disspointed, never come back
