It's bursting with flavor and has a perfect thick and crispy texture! The banh cuon is fantastic too. Everything here is wonderful, and the staff is always incredibly friendly.
This restaurant is perfect for enjoying quick Vietnamese dishes that you don't typically find in other Vietnamese places. There's a wide variety of options to choose from. It's ideal for picking up a few items to save for meals during the week, which is a fantastic way to save money while on vacation. Each box is packed with a generous amount of the entree, vegetables, and fish sauce. I particularly enjoyed the Vietnamese crepe. If you heat it up in the air fryer the next day, it becomes wonderfully crispy. Every bite was packed with flavor, and nothing tasted stale.
We placed two takeout orders of banh cuon for $24.90, and I was looking forward to sharing them with my sister who was visiting. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to find that the pork had a slight sour taste. I felt embarrassed because the quality wasn’t anywhere near as good as during our last visit when the food was freshly made.
I always order the fresh banh cuon, and it never disappoints. The prices are reasonable too. The gentleman at the front, who seems to be the owner, is always welcoming and friendly.
My favorite spot for banh cuon and banh xeo is definitely this place. In my opinion, their banh cuon tastes better than Thang Long's. It's thin and has a wonderful chewy texture. I also love the variety of Vietnamese sausages they include! If you decide to take the banh xeo home, it stays crispy, so you don’t have to worry about it losing its crunch.
