1st Donuts - Garland

My father-in-law recommended this donut shop, but I will never return. The donuts didn't taste fresh at all and left a bad impression on both me and my husband. They were also very overpriced; we should have just gone to our usual spot. In the end, we ended up tossing out $20 worth of donuts.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I was about to use the bathroom before placing my order, Nina rudely stopped me and insisted there was to be no pooping in the restroom. After I used the toilet, I realized there was no toilet paper available. When I asked her for some, she refused to help me. I've never encountered anything like this in my life.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered four dry kolachis, one cinnamon roll, and one apple fritter, which all tasted like old grease, along with some bad coffee. The only redeeming thing was the apple juice, which they didn’t even make. Our total was $17.08, but we will definitely not be returning. The best donuts and kolachis are, without a doubt, at Castle and Country Club. We ended up throwing away our food from First Donuts, which felt like a waste of both time and money.

I've never spent nearly two dollars on a basic donut, and the minimal amount of yeast used is disappointing. These donuts simply don’t justify the price. I've visited plenty of shops, and I suggest they reconsider their pricing—this isn't New York, and the quality doesn't match up.

I absolutely love this donut shop! The donuts are consistently delicious, and their themed character donuts are just adorable.
