Norman Rudy's - Garibaldi Highlands

The food at this restaurant was both overpriced and terrible. The broccoli appetizer was cold, the plates were wet, and the burger bun was so damp that it had to be removed. The fish and chips were also soggy. Although the waitress offered us a "locals discount," we were already locals and it didn't make up for the inedible food.

My partner and I had a nice dinner at this restaurant. The service was good and the food was delicious. However, we wish we had been informed about the specials that were not on the menu earlier in the meal, as we only found out halfway through from another server at a different table. Additionally, we would have felt more at ease during our visit if the staff had been consistently wearing masks and practicing better social distancing.

My group of 4 people sat on the patio, as we had reserved through Open Table. We were promptly greeted and seated by our server. The food was delicious. My son greatly enjoyed the perfectly cooked and very tasty bison, elk, and venison burger. The homemade tomato soup of the day was also quite tasty. The Pacific Cod fish and chips were cooked nicely. They have a fantastic selection of beers as well.
