Pastaz Italian Cuisine - Gardiner

I've been there several times and had a less than satisfactory meal once. The place has a unique vibe, with some quirky touches (like wine served in jelly jars). However, the service is excellent, and I was very pleased with my overall experience. Just a heads up: there’s no bread basket; instead, the bread is brought with your meal, and salads come with an additional charge. We tried the specials: chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, and gnocchi, and all of them were very good!

The sweetest Italian restaurant in Maine!! Amazing food, great atmosphere and extremely clean! Very recommended!

Lasagna was excellent. The Caesar salad, which I have ordered at dozens of restaurants, was one of the best I've tasted. Good, competent service. Good value for the price.

New to the area. Pasta solid. Good portions. Eating from a sizzling fry pan is a nice touch. But the tiramisu. Oh my! The best ever! Wife and I ordered one to split. Had to buy another. Seriously will go here just for dessert. Definitely in the date-night rotation ...
