I am giving this restaurant a three-star rating for a reason. The ribs, made with fantastic beef and pork, deserve a five-star rating. However, what brings my overall rating down to a three are the potato salad and coleslaw. The potato salad had a reputation for being bad, and the coleslaw was just ordinary salad. Despite this, I do plan to give this place another try. Just be cautious of the sides - stick to the ribs. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
After passing by this restaurant on the bus many times on my way to Los Angeles, I finally had the opportunity to try it out today. I called ahead to place my order and the person who took my order was very friendly and answered all my questions. We ordered two dinners, one with rib tips, baked beans, and potato salad, and the other with pork shoulder, macaroni salad, and baked beans. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had to make a couple of u-turns to find the entrance and only one customer was allowed inside at a time. After a 5-minute wait, our orders were ready for pick up. The portions were very generous, as shown in the picture. The baked beans were tangy and had a nice kick to them. I chose the medium sauce for the pork shoulder, which was flavorful but milder than I expected. I might try the hot sauce next time. The macaroni salad was creamy and delicious, and I preferred it over the sweeter potato salad. The rib tips were incredibly smoky and tender, falling off the bone easily. The pork shoulder was a bit fatty but still tasty. Next time, I would probably go with the rib tips again or try some of their ribs.

The service at this restaurant is friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and well-prepared. The ribs are juicy and flavorful, though they are not falling off the bone. I tried the hot sauce, while my son went for the extra hot option - both were delicious. This place is a must-visit for BBQ lovers in Southern California.
