Jang Mo Gip - Garden Grove

I'm not sure how to rate this place. The kimchi has been good, but my last visit really put me off. The person behind the counter coughed all over my bucket of kimchi while she was serving it—three times in a row! She didn’t step away or even look away. While I enjoy the kimchi, I don't think I'll be returning. It was just really unsettling to witness.

The atmosphere is quite unkempt, with flies buzzing around. The seafood pancake was disappointing—too thick and dry. Overall, it wasn't worth the price.

I had a fantastic experience! The food was both sweet and delicious. It's also very affordable, which I absolutely loved!

A real home spot with ahjumas and the whole bit. Just sitting around watching dramas and talking smack. Love it. Really tasty home style dishes, in a good way. The banchan is a bit sloppy and haphazard but it's good/standard. I like how they serve really early so u can come for breakfast if u want. Not fancy but I love that. And I love things served on a sizzle plate.

I think they have the best black cod 은대구 in southern California.
