Shintaro Asian Bistro - Garden City

The BEST Sushi, Asian/Fusion restaurant! I’ve tried most of them in the neighborhood and they don’t compare. We LOVE it here!The atmosphere, the service, the owners and especially the food. You can’t go wrong with anything you order whether it’s the rolls (highly recommend the American Dream roll and Covert Ave rolls). The Sushi Pizza and Age Rangoon and Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp are also awesome! The drinks are great too!But the best part are the owners, they are absolute sweethearts!

I absolutely love this place! The sushi is high quality, and the cooked food is delicious as well. There's something for everyone on the menu. The owners and staff are friendly, making for an amazing experience overall.

The restaurant features a bar, and we had a party of 14 people dining there tonight. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, especially the sushi pizza and the special sandwich. The oysters and steak were also excellent. We paired our meal with some great wine. The owner, Peter, was very friendly and helped us choose the best dishes! Everything was fantastic! As for parking, it's conveniently located right in front of the restaurant.

Parking is convenient, costing four quarters for two hours at the meter located a block away.

I got the chicken teriyaki lunch and the food was pretty good. Staff were great and friendly, would visit again!
