Novitá - Garden City

As a Garden City resident, I’ve often walked by Novita but had never actually gone in until today. It’s a solid Italian restaurant with a modern flair. The food was good, and the portion sizes were fair. I ordered the bolognese, but found the pasta a tad undercooked and a bit too al dente for my taste. My friend had the cavatelli, which was slightly salty but still enjoyable. The service was adequate, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was an average experience—certainly better than plenty of other places. I might come back after I explore a few new restaurants.

The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was delightful. The service was exceptional. The gluten-free options were just as delicious as the regular menu items. We had gluten-free pizza and pasta one night and then a large bowl of traditional pasta the following week, and we loved both meals. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night with a few coworkers. We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff was able to accommodate us after a brief wait. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about wine. We started with the arancini, and I had the pappardelle with Maine lobster. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic!

I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. There was plenty of space, which made for a comfortable dining experience.
