Campfire Grill - Garden City

Buyer beware. my family has a place in bear lake and we thought we would try the campfire grill for the first time since it opens. the atmosphere will surely invite you. the menu was checked a little on the pricy end, but nothing exaggerated. I noticed that the special on the chalkboard had grown a Wagyu crucible before location. our waitress was probably newly trained, I had to ask for the special offer and what was included in the scope of delivery. she just said a sweet, no salad, no roll etc. I'm not a beginner when it comes to bark meat, our family increases black angus, so I thought I would support every local rancher and order the wagyu ribeye, knowing full well the steak would be $15 to $20 dollars higher than their top Steak item of $36. they calculated me $80 for my special steak and one side of Brussel spears. all in all, two pizza is a steak and a very small portion salmon with rice cost us $230! they stay at mortons, ruths chris or flemings if they want to fall this kind of money to a meal. I felt evaporated. will not be back.

Im giving Two stars for the atmosphere, the food was a huge let down ! Expensive, lacked flavor, and was just your not very good at all.

I don't know if it was cause we were starving but the food was delicious. For the appetizer, we had the chicken wings, which were amazing! They didn't have too much grease or fat on them, and they were crispy enough. For the entre we had the pork chops and meatloaf. The pork chops was cooked in a sweet sauce that was really good, same as the side of potatoes and veggies. The meatloaf was also fantastic, one of the best meatloaf that I have had in a while. For desserts we had the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on top. Also super delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant with really nice waitresses.

2 stars because of the service. Food gets 0 stars. Everything tasted like it was frozen but charged like it is a farm to table. Like I said the service was great not their fault the chef can't cook.

Really nice place. Setting is very beautiful, surrounded by vagon camps. Food is good, no issues. In my experience, the best in Garden City.
