Gasthof Neuwirt - Garching bei München

I think this restaurant is a cut above average for Garching. I think the best thing about it is that it is a nice place inside and the garden outside when the weather is good. I had the mushroom schnitzel and it was plentiful and...good but the sauce was a bit bland. Others loved their burger and a large piece of beef shank.

Based on the rating, expectation was higher than reality . Sizes were big enough but taste was not extraordinary. In my opinion there are better restaurants around in same price range.

Overall was a nice experience, even was costed more than expected. Very friendly staff, nice meals but in the end had to wait long time in order to pay. Try the local desert based on apple (have uploaded some photos).

Food is nice, somewhat expensive. it is a good option in Garching. is a very typical and folkloric place

Good food typical Bavarian, good beers, all staff courteous and fast. The interior design is also typical Bavarian. I visited the restaurant for a business dinner with a group of 30 guests. The service was fast and effective, congratulations to the staff.
