Very good treatment of the staff, charming place next to the fisherman pier, good quality in the food and a very good price to repeat
I send the Langostinos back twice because they where impossible to peal, way to much cooked. 8 Langostinos for 16 Euros.... you should expect something better. The rest was acceptable.
Yesterday we had a very nice lunch for 4 persons. We shared a couple of starters and kicked it off with a high quality Albariño they have many. My favorite in this place is a wine called 3000 cepas, but I am not alone so we had another. My all 4 had the arroz bogavante what a superb lobster dish!! Well prepped and deliscous. We two others Albariño all in the same category. And ended with a chilled Moët and some Karahio, (coffee with brandy). New winelist and a new wine room for this year. Staff: lovely, fast and friendly as always. PS! Book in advance, dress a bottle up, and ask for a table near the sea! Enjoy
Lovely bright modern extension to a traditional fish restaurant with views across the harbour of fishing boats coming in and out. We opted for the €15 set menu. Started with some excellent mussels,a large portion of fried chipirones and some slightly disappointing sliced bread and allioli. The mains was the local speciality Seafood Fideuà.Like paella but made with noodles.A delicious and generous portion. We choose an excellent albariño white from an extensive but not expensive wine list. The bill including a pre drink and coffees was €41 which was excellent value. Take time to look at the interesting photos of Gandia harbour in the old restaurant.
