Mary Brown's Fried Chicken - Gander

We ordered two 3-piece chicken tender dishes with two small coleslaws. When my partner came home after picking up the order, he discovered that the coleslaw was missing. He called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, who was very apologetic and said she would rectify the mistake. Not only was the missing coleslaw delivered very quickly, but they also added a complimentary order of their delicious popcorn chicken. We were impressed!

My wife and I were heading back from a family trip when we decided to stop here for lunch, as the other three places we checked were full. We ordered the 2-piece snack and a hot chicken sandwich, which were standard fare, but they satisfied our hunger cravings.

We ordered from here to take out. Food was good, a splurge for us as we try not to eat fast food too much. We had fries, chicken and taters and then leftovers the next day!

Mary browns has been a staple to Newfoundland fried chicken need for years. I rate it a 5 star not because it's a gourmet restaurant but because it's absolutely the best at what it does. Hankering a chicken burger? Get the big Mary!! Hands down...one of the best chicken burgers around. In terms of Mary brown chains this one is pretty great. I would give it a 9/10 only because sometimes the taters are under seasoned

Always a safe bet. Good food, great service and it's just along the highway so super convenient. Visit as you drive through the area or stay a night or two.
