Ches's Fish And Chips - Gander

The fish and chips we're fantastic, fish pieces were all large and no scraps w fries or fish. Delicious! My husbands favorite is the wings chips and dressing and gravy. Great price too.

I eat here quite a bit. Usually on a day off, I'll stop by, order some food (Ironically, despite being known for their fish and chips, I usually have their fried chicken) and take advantage of the free wi-fi while I eat. Place had a nice and cozy feel to it, service in my experience has always been quick and efficient.

I've worked in a number of restaurants in my life and heard horror stories from friends and family from the few I haven't worked in myself. Because of this, there are a number of restaurants that I refuse to go to any more. Ches's is NOT one of those restaurants. Not only did I watch as they brought in fresh product and checked it all to ensure the quality, but I also got to see and experience their strict rules for their staff in regards to cleanliness, quality of service, and quality of food. Because I got to see this first hand, I can honestly say that it's somewhere I would and have openly referred friends to.
