Prom - Galway

The hotel is lovely, with a great location. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. However, the breakfast could use some more organization as it can be difficult to get tea and toast during busy times. The food is good though. Overall, the staff is good and I would definitely consider coming back again, hopefully when the weather is better.

We initially planned to stay for one night, but ended up staying for two at The Salthill Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of by the receptionist, Aishling. We were there to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary and my wife's recent 70th birthday. Initially, the room we had reserved didn't quite suit my wife's mobility needs, but Aishling quickly upgraded us at no extra cost. The hotel, room, and all the food - breakfast, dinner, and bar - were excellent. The staff were all lovely and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We were so impressed with our stay that we decided to extend for one more night, which Aishling and Eileen at reception arranged for us effortlessly. Throughout our stay, Aishling made sure to check in on us to ensure everything was perfect. She is a truly caring person. We will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend The Salthill Hotel.

10 of us staying in the hotel had dinner here and couldn’t fault it. The food was amazing and the staff were great and very patient. We were able to take our drinks into the bar when done to continue a great night. Would highly recommended to anyone. Well done all

Staying in the hotel for ease my brother and his wife met us for food. Both of us commented on the narrow menu 5/6 for each course. Ordering the sirloin it came as ordered but with frozen chips and frozen onion rings. I was going to order another portion of onion rings but glad I didn't. The girls did enjoy the desert which has raised this rating. When paying I was asked how was the food, appears no one has said before at best average. She did not know what to say.

There wasn't much of a choice on the menu but I got the steak and it was lovely. Good menu for kids!
