Il Vicolo - Galway

I had mixed and matched from the menus and had a wonderful dinner experience as the live jazz was playing that evening. It is towards the higher price point however, and there are other superb options for Italian cuisine in Galway.

The most terrible experience in a restaurant, they catered for too many people and hadn't the staff to look after them. Not in anyway authentic Italian... they girl that served us was very nice but food terrible. I would prefer to eat at home. Get a pizza instead from any takeaway more genuinely Italian...

This is a gem of a restaurant in Galway. Ask for a table by the window or a nook. The food and atmosphere was so fabulous. It may take awhile to get your meal but the wait is worth it!

This Italian restaurant is fantastic… we dined here at 8.30pm on a Thursday and the restaurant was full … with a mix of tourists and regulars…. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing…. The ambience and decor is this old repurposed Mill House which has a stream running underneath is very special and unique…. Definitely will be back again

Doesn't looks much from outside and the entrance is a little hidden/confusing. However, once you go down the stairs, that all changes! We were served by a Canadian lady who had only been there a week, she was lovely, attentive and friendly. Decor was warm and comfy. Food was quick and delicious. Portion sizes are large so be sure to come along hungry!
