My husband son and granddaughter ate here and we had a really enjoyable evening. The food was very good, especially the scallops with black pudding. The desserts too were delicious-very hard to choose what to have. The hotel has been changed around since we last...ate here, what was the restaurant is now the bar, where you can also eat food (same menu I believe) and I thought it worked really well, it had a nice atmosphere the night we went in. The staff are always polite but also have a bit of personality to them, which I like.
We ate here both nights of our stay and the food was amazing as were the staff! The steak was cooked exactly how we asked and the portion sizes were huge. The steak burger and fish and chips the previous night were also gorgeous and...cooked to perfection. Prices are very good considering the quality of the food. Tony (the owner and chef) came out near the end of our meal to see if we were happy, we couldn't have been happier. All in all great food and would not hesitate to recommend Iasc, just go you will not be disappointed
We had Fish and Chips at this restaurant for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. So beautifully presented, and all items were perfectly cooked. The batter was light and crisp, the side salad was very tasty and the chips were nice and not too greazy.
We had hoped to stay in the Maol Reidh hotel but a ****-up with booking meant we were directed to alternative accommodation. However we hit the jackpot with IASC restaurant. Dinner for two on two nights tested the offerings and we were not disappointed. A...phenomenal seafood platter and a delicate pollock offering were equalled by a superb lamb shank and the freshest haddock on the second night. Desserts were sinful. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the meal. Chef/patron Tony certainly has the light touch and the staff were unfailingly pleasant. Chapeau!
