Woody's - Galveston

Great place to chill and shoot some pool. Bar tenders ate friendly and very attentive. Sound system is good. When you can catch live music, it's a must. Great ocean view. I will definitely be returning.

Cool bar right by the water with lots of shaded bike parking. Decently priced beers for the location, you're not paying nightclub prices. Small inside area by the bar but the overly spacious deck is what Woody's is all about. Live daytime music during the warmer months with spectacular views of the waves and sunset. Relax, unwind, and put yourself in a flip-flop state of mind. (just remember there's no food served here)

To make it clear, there is no eating it is a bar. its quirky, relaxed to the local bar of the earth. it has a fantastic view, it is an oasis after a long walk on the beach from our hotel. we have visited the day of this holiday and the same when we have taken vacation in galveston last year. after a few visits my wein was already poured when I went through the door, which is what I call service. When I first saw it, I was not sure to go for a drink, judge no book on his cover. I loved watching the animal world on the waterfront, watching the rolling waves and singing a cold. enjoy.

Couple of easy on the eyes bartenders and the prices aren't too bad. Environmentally is a cool spot. Wish they cleaned up around the water so you could chill out back in the lagoon. That would make it a 5 star review....

Dive bar on the beach. No food sold here. 1 pool table. Great ocean view on back patio.
