Willie G's Seafood Steaks - Galveston

The drinks were a little overly sweet and our waitress while knowledgeable was a bit brisk. My mom was having some stomach issues and needed a very plain meal, and even after we said she had no allergies the waitress was asking very probing questions that embarrassed my mom. The fish was grilled well and the chowder was so fresh!

Celebrated my Pastor's birthday at Willie G's. It was a great experience for my first time of dining here for lunch. The atmosphere and service was excellent. We enjoyed our meals. The seating allows you to have a great view of the ocean. They have dining inside or outside. They have a list of their specialty cocktails for that day, if desired with your meal. At lunch you are able to chose from the lunch or dinner menu and appetizer menu. A great place to hang out with family, friends, or co-workers. You won't be disappointed. Enjoyed dining here.

Beautiful place to look for fresh seafood. Everything tasted great, well prepared, perfectly presented! The atmosphere is comfortable. The staff is very friendly and will take care of you well. Parking next to the restaurant with 3 hours validation of Willie G's. Great view of the port from the adjacent port. Price is at the top, but it is worthwhile for what you get! Can't wait to get back to our next trip to the city!!

I left here on Saturday night. Parking was close and paid by the restaurant when you dine there. The atmosphere is casual, most people wore shorts and T-shirts. We made reservations from Google and sat immediately while people without reservations had to wait an hour, so recommend making reservations on weekends. We could get a couch with a table on the terrace overlooking Galveston Harbor. The view was fantastic and it made for a great date night for my wife and me. Our waitress Daris was prompt, friendly and attentive. We started with the Crab and Spinach Stuffed Shells that were delicious! I had the Fried Seafood Platter, who was huge and cooked for perfection with a lot of taste. My wife had the act that was a little boiled, but tolerable. She hates sending things back so she treats it. The drinks were on site. We had the chocolate eruption for desert and it was also delicious! Total great experience for a casual date night in Galveston.

We made dinner reservations and thank God. It was full. We had different dishes. I added photos so you can know how the food is presented. Big gumbo, fresh Caesar salad and scallops. The oysters were a bit small for my taste, but the taste was decent. Lives this place and will return.
