Nice quiet little place with really good food. I eat here once a week and service is consistently good.

Restaurant is in the market with a very low-key vibe. Great food, fast and friendly service. We were stuffed and everything was tasty.

Excellent food! Very authentic. It’s one of those spots that tourists don’t think to visit even though it’s so close to the beach. Stumbled upon it because my friend’s go-to was closed. I had lunch (the tacos w/ fajita asada) and my friend had breakfast (eggs w/ chorizo plate). Loved the atmosphere too… little restaurant located in a grocer.

Real Mexican food. Eat with locals. It might not be for everyone but I love it. Back in the 60's, 70's and 80's the building was Thrifty Liquor. In the back was the best sporting goods selection in Galveston county. Bought all our guns, rods and reels here. Just a little trivia...

We found this restaurant on Google, after our arrival from Minnesota. The menu is expansive with great choices. We tried pozole and it was so delicious! Also we went back the next day and ordered Enchiladas Verde. Yum! And the service is very attentive, we loved our waitress just a wonderful restaurant! Ann Ken
