Location on seawall directly across from entertainment pier. Excellent drinks and service at the upstairs bar. Waited an hour+ for food...Manager confirmed why and did not charge us. Fried shrimp, oysters could have been better. Chowder was good. Because the Manager was reasonable and fair...we will give Fish Tales another try.

FishTails Galveston at the Seawall. This location is directly in the middle of what I consider all the fun stuff at Galveston Beach. They were able to accommodate us on a very busy Black Friday for the holiday season with a group of 12. The host that's got us in there did an excellent job. Our waitress was very very good at what she does and recommended the best dishes on the menu for our liking. She was very attentive and had a good sense of humor . Now some people are wondering why does this have a 4-star review. Well everything above is the reason why. Now one stars were taken away because we did not like all the food. We spent around $300 on this meal and the food for the adults was interesting to say the least Note: the entrees only). Now once again the kids which were six of them. They truly enjoyed themselves and their food was good. Now we all know kids like simple stuff . Just to be honest the fish and the shrimp just did not taste real

We come here once a year because eating is good and it is a great place to take the children with the pleasure pier right on the road. the only thing that kept this from a terrible experience was eating. the food was excellent! I had the red snapper with the Ponchartrain topping and it was wonderful. I had it before and it was just as good as I remember. the grilled cheese was delicious and the chickened bugs were great. oh, and the garnelen kisses were great! the drinks were wrong, that took 20 minutes to get, there were not several things we never got that we were asking for how water and spice, serviette things like this. we got the wrong side for a court and then we were charged for a substitution and did not receive the side. when we finally got the side, the waiter constantly gave comments about how we get a bigger buck for our buck. I can't say exactly how or why this is the worst service we have received and how it has ruined the experience, but it has totally done. I didn't want to type at all, but I'm not that person and I've been tipping since I used to be waiter, that everyone has a bad day, and all 3 tabs had problems with wrong commands and they didn't correct. I have visited many paintings and this is the first time that I had such a bad experience.
