Our visit to this “small piece of heaven” in the city of Thalpe was a total pleasure and highly recommended. It is a beautiful trip from Colombo to Galle, a historic fortified city, with a colonial feeling with influence on Portuguese, Dutch and English. The resort itself set the sound and pace of what a holiday should be... I would recommend starting with an Arrack Sour to calm down to take the stunning views. Then, as you are embedded in one of the many beach rooms overlooking the beach and the waves of Indian oceans on the rocks and silver waves will find a soothing and soothing background during your stay there... After suggesting one of the many walks to lagoons to try to find soothing dives in warm calm waters and take a picnic that the amazing boss can prepare for you. Speaking of chefs, the delicious menu will awaken your senses with a variety of local treats and traditions. Best part are the exquisitely designed rooms, each with its own unique features that you feel like a home away from home. We spent 5 days absolutely wonderful experience from the staff, managers and support crew, who are always smiling ready to help and please their patrons. I would encourage this trip to be strong and support the local economy that depends on tourism. The only surprising thing I found is how few of the locals spoke English. When in Colombo, please visit the Ministry of Crab. It's a pretty experience... expensive but worth it. I can talk enough about how sweet, friendly, civic the Sri Lankans are. The cities are clean and roads amazingly modern, so traveling is quite fun. I want to be with my family and friends again and enjoy the hospitality of OTP.

Perfect pool environment. Would recommend at any time. The staff is very nice and keeps the bar open several times. Great breakfast too.

Amazing is the only word I have for my experience in this hotel.. Rooms., food, amenities everything was bang on.. Staff is well trained and polite.. Strongly recommend..
