The Whiskey Barrel - Galesburg

Three of us got together for lunch, and it was wonderful. Two of us ordered the fish and chips, which were excellent! One person chose the tenderloin, and it was enormous and freshly prepared. We also shared a large pretzel appetizer that was not only fun to eat but also delicious. The staff was professional and wore masks. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

My friend and I had a lovely date night. I ordered the catfish dinner, which came with roasted green tomatoes as an appetizer. My friend had chicken with mashed potatoes and baked beans, while I started with BBQ chicken wings. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Stop for a quick bite. Ordered appetizers and drinks. The pulpit was delicious and came with a whisky cheese dip along with a hot honey dip. The cheese dip was very good, but I think the hot honey won me. Also ordered was the Chicken Fried Steak Bites, which came to diving with a milk sword. The drinks were very good. Try it, it's worth it. Next time we plan to eat a meal.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Just what I would say needs adjustment is menu says dinner to 9 but kitchen closes around 8. Loved the Makkaroni salad on St. Patty's day. I wish it was available every day. Anyway, it'll be back.

The food changed my life. Went there for my husbands birthday. The waitress was an absolute peach. Very personable.
