Maid-rite - Galesburg

I had a fantastic loose meat sandwich, which came topped with ketchup, mustard, and pickles. I usually end up ordering two of them! The soup was delicious as well, and they offer a house salad. They also serve hot dogs and chili. For dessert, there were some tasty cakes available. The decor is both interesting and unique, and the restrooms and counter seats were clean.

Maid-Rite is a classic mom-pop place. Come here for good food at a reasonable price. It is signature meal is loose meat hamburgers that you eat with a spoon. I know that sounds strange, but trust me, it's absolutely amazing. An amazing burger for $2,30, you just can't beat that. The service is phenomenal and the food comes out quickly. My only complaint is that they only take cash.
