MILKSHAKES ONLY REVIEW Accurate as of 10/10/23 This review is ONLY about the milkshakes because that's the ONLY thing I get from here. I've lived in galax for over 20 years and this is the best place to get milkshakes. I go almost weekly to get a Hand Dipped Chocolate Milkshake basic, I know, but absolutely delicious. I have tried a couple of the other milkshakes and while some I disliked, it was solely because I disliked the flavor (I dont like Peanut Butter so I didnt like the Peanut Butter shake) and not the quality. I even get milkshakes for people at work, they even keep a note with all of their flavors pinned in the main office for people to pick! Isnt that wonderful? As of for speed, I typically call in my order and get there in ~5 minutes. Its always ready for me! The times that I didnt call it in, nearly all of them were fairly quick even during the busier times, I'd say, average of 5 minutes? The longest I had to wait was around 30, but that was an outlier and only happened once out of the over hundred times I've been. All in all, this is the best milkshake joint around Galax. I'll add photos when I can! P.S. You CAN mix flavors!

Great food! Good selection. Pizza, burgers and hot dogs.

Soon as the opened the employee came right out. Super fast ordering. Got double hamburger with lettuce and tomatoe n fries. Everything was hot n fresh. Best part of hamburger was the fresh lettucebn tomatoe. The hamburger was not your typical color, it was light brown with no flavor. Nothing to write home about. Wish the burger had flavor

Been eating at this location for four years since arriving in Galax. It has been our Sunday night place for their hamburger/cheeseburger special. Sadly upon reopening in 2023, we feel the quality of the ground beef has changed. The last two visits found hamburger meat that was stringy, unusual smell, thinner size and several small hard pieces of gristle. We will try eating there once more. Hopefully this is not a permanent solution to adjust pricing. Love their ice cream and Coca Cola! Fabulous improvements to the parking lot and facilities.

Great little spot just south of down town. We pulled up in the parking lot and a nice lady came out to take our order. We got some corn dogs, a double bacon cheeseburger and of course some ice cream cones. The food came out quickly and we chose to eat outside and save the car the inevitable mess. There are a couple benches to sit on, a table or two in the grass would have been awesome. The kids loved their corn dogs and the burger was great. The ice cream came out a little later and was perfect on a hot summer day. Everyone was nice and friendly and they brought out extra napkins and a wet rag to wipe down the kids after they were covered in ice cream. Great spot to go for a burger and some ice cream!
