St Vietnamese - Galax

This place has a modest exterior, but the food is absolutely delicious. It's refreshing to discover a menu that offers more than just pizza and barbecue!

Please update your hours; it was a disappointing trip. I spoke with someone over the phone who mentioned that you close at 7:30 PM. However, when I arrived at 7:00 PM, we were not allowed to enter.

Can't believe this little gem is in Galax!! Definitely my new go to spot to bring people or grab lunch for the officeSeems a little suspicious at first because you are going down into the basement of a building in an alley but it is so worth it!! If you are in galax you have to check it outWill definitely be going back!

We started with the egg rolls, not bad, but not the usual Vietnamese egg rolls.. no pork, no noodles, no onion but had sweet potato??? kinda nasty, asked for the usual fish sauce normally served but was straight up fish sauce.. Nasty! the 2 of us ordered Beef Pho both the broth and beef tasted rancid! We took a few sips, and decided we did not want to get sick from the beef and broth they had cooked it in. We left without eating, but did have to pay for the nasty spoiled beef aka Pho. Will never return, they should take a course in VIETNAMESE cooking, like the never ending TV shows in the Dining Room. if you go, Bring antibiotics for dessert..

My wife and I love Vietnamese food, and I was happy to find ST. Not a very big place, but there was room for us on a Thursday night. My wife got pho and I got the curry. She enjoyed the pho but said it wasn’t the best she’s had. My curry was spicy to my liking, and had great flavor, though a little heavy on the salt to my taste. I’d absolutely order it again! The prices were great and the service was friendly. Definitely intend to return!
