Creekside Cafe - Galax

When we're on the street, we're trying to find mother and pop places to eat. That was a great find. We had the popcorn shrimps and the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Both were excellent! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew the area well and gave us excellent instructions where we wanted. The restaurant was clean and tidy. I recommend it!! If you stop at Galax VA for a good meal!

The staff was nice, the maple apple bacon French toast was good. My husband and I had a good meal at a reasonable price!

I've been with my husband and children in many times, we were so ecstatic to have found this café after we pulled out of California. We've been here for over a few months and love it. The owners and employees are excellent and are so inviting and attentive when you take orders and make sure everything comes to us in time. The food is spectacular, and we were delighted to have found a comparable restaurant to those we were using. The food was always fantastic well made and incoming hot and also delicious. My family visited us for a week from the state also loved how well looked after the institution. My family noticed how immaculate and thorough they make sure everything is well maintained. We are always looking forward to coming and visiting with you and with the wonderful people we have met through you!

Had a spendid time eating here with my family today. Quaint diner that makes you feel at home. Everyone had excellent food and you can’t beat the prices! You definitely get what you pay for and now a days that is hard to find around. Y’all had such lovely staff who were attentive and go out of the way to accommodate you and all around friendly atmosphere. My family and I will most definitely be back again soon!

Best breakfast in Galax. I live on the other side of Hillsville so I do not eat there much, but they have some good home fry potatoes, good omelet, thick slices of tomatoes, and the good dark breakfast engraving for your cookies. Coffee is also made. Great service and I bet the cook had my food out there 3 minutes tops. I have to go to dinner.
