Pupuseria El Comalito - Gaithersburg

Food was very good. Honestly, their pupusas were better than doña’s restaurant that has downgraded their ingredients. The waitress was really nice and courteous. The atmosphere: it was hot and stuffy for a really hot day outside. We need some AC or some fans going from all the heat of the kitchen.We are pupusas, fries, tamales, nuegados, plátanos,etc. I can’t tell you about the bigger plates but the smaller ones were decent. I ordered 2 tamales to go but they messed up that ordered and that was the only mistake they did.No, I did not see the bathroom for cleanliness. The table we were seated at had to be re-cleaned but only for water marks. I’m just weird that way.Overall, I would recommend. It’s about $20 per person with the bigger plates.

The pupusas are good and so are the beverages. The only thing is they never answer they phone. I had to order through doordash over the weekend since they wouldn’t pickup the phone

Pupusas are delicious and great value for price. I've only eaten pupusas and compared to others the best tasting and quality. Place is jammed pack on weekends

Man. I was out look for a snack and the seen this Pupus spot.. The chicken and cheese was out of this world, the flavors wow. The bean cheese was good. The service was fast, friendly and I need to work on my Spanish. Lol. This restaurant is small and quiet. But the Pupus are amazing!
