We paid $100 for dinner for 4 adults and a 6-year-old, which is too expensive compared to other buffets in the area. The quality of the food is also not worth the price.
Every time we go to this restaurant the prices change but our family size is smaller. We use to come here very often and we started seeing the prices fluctuate depending on the person at the front counter. Recently within months there was a $50 increase and we actually decreased a family member. Also the food is not fresh and is mostly likely poured back in if you eat past 7pm and weekday evenings is worse. The food is only fresh weekend afternoons. It is good but not worth the increase and the fear of getting sick. Golden Coral is always fresh and prices don’t fluctuate and change based on front counter service. Also there is Lulus buffet in Gaithersburg that is good and more honest with pricing. They are constantly busy so it makes for fresh food.
My experience was fantastic. They offer a variety of cuisine options from American to Chinese to seafood, and it was all delicious. The staff was friendly and our server was attentive. The prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was clean with all employees following Covid guidelines by wearing masks. I highly recommend this amazing hibachi restaurant and will definitely be returning!
The restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious, but it has a unique flavor that is different from what I am used to. It seems that whenever they add something new to the menu, it always tastes salty. During the COVID-19 pandemic, my family and I were required to wear gloves provided by the restaurant when handling our food.
I went 3 times in hibachi during the last month. eating and service varied every time. the first time I went with a friend who is familiar with this buffet restaurant, from top to bottom. he recommended the aubergines with soy sauce, fried fish fillet, mapo tofu and sautéed steak. the food was delicious! it was much better than a restaurant and the service was wonderful. all staff were very friendly and welcoming. they always asked if we were eating well, refilling the tee and removing the used plates. I was so happy and brought my family there a week later. the experience was terrible this time. the fried fish fillet tasted like leftover, cold, very chewing (solte yo crispy be) and stiff. the tofu tasted funny, or say, not fresh. the steak was not sure it tasted like a brisket. my man had diarrhea after he came back home and the service, actually, no service! the waitress just stood together and chatted happy. they have not refilled the tee. when a waitress took the used plates, she already had 4 or 5 dirty plates on her arm. I was afraid the plates were falling on my table. the third time was a great execution order. each dish was in a large tablet. they tasted good. and the quantity was great.
