Don Jorge's - Gaithersburg

I was just there once. I really enjoyed my stay. loved eating personal, all very polite, they offer me a first class service. in any case will go back and this restaurant will recommend my friends and family.

The restaurant was recommended to us by a related. we felt in love since the first time until the point that we were there in two weeks three times. the food is so delicious with the Caribbean taste and the service is excellent. Friday evening is a plus with the romantic music from Fernando more. a very stylish restaurant that you should visit and enjoy.

Everything was good except food. My girlfriend thought that enchiladas had too much cheese and seafood platter had too much lemon. Otherwise everything was nice.

Overall the food was good. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and felt it was too salty. Also it was more like a Burris than a chimichanga. Would have liked it more crispy and fried. My husband enjoyed his steak and kids liked the fajitas. My main complaint is that the live singer was way too loud. I couldn’t hear anything anyone was saying. They need to turn the speaker volume down.

We chose Don Jorge's at the last minute as there were not a lot of choices on a Saturday night. The reviews looked good, so we gave it a try. We are so glad we did! If you like Tex-Mex food, this is the place to go. There was a DJ that also sang and had a surprisingly good voice. The decor is simple yet clean. And the food was great. Everything we tried was perfect including the freshly made salsa. If you are in the mood for Tex-Mex, I would highly recommend Don Jorge's!
