California Pizza Kitchen - Gaithersburg

I had an amazing dining experience on October 30th, 2021, around 8:30 PM, thanks to Alex, who served my girlfriend and me. His service was truly exceptional. Alex clearly has some background in culinary arts, as he was very knowledgeable about flavors and even had the confidence to recommend a sauce I might like when I asked for Old Bay or Creole seasoning, which the restaurant didn’t carry. It takes a lot of confidence and courage to engage with customers like he did, and it was a breath of fresh air. While he isn't a manager, I believe he should be, as his personality and customer service skills are far too valuable for just serving. This restaurant would greatly benefit from his presence and work ethic. As a former restaurant owner myself, I would without a doubt give him 5 stars. Thank you, Alex!

The experience was quite disappointing. Most of the toppings were either missing or soggy. There was no dressing, crushed red peppers, or salsa included. Additionally, my pickup order didn’t come with any napkins.

We ordered the California Club Pizza, and we were surprised when we opened it. It only had bacon and chicken—no other vegetables or avocado. Additionally, the size of the meat was disappointing; it really should have been cut into smaller pieces.

Great location right by the lake! Stopped by for a pie-to-go for an impromptu family picnic by the playground area. Had a great time with great food and great people!

Food is always great, even at the one in FOXWOODS. No one is perfect so 4 stars..service was polite and friendly. The pizzas a good and delicious toppings. Sandwiches are creative and interesting.
