I was thrilled to discover an all-vegetarian menu featuring bagels with unique vegetable coffee offerings. As I sat outside, I could hear the sounds of the sea and see the coastline through the trees, making me feel like I was in the Mediterranean rather than in the highlands.
In a remote location in West Scotland, one would not expect to find many vegan options. However, this restaurant proves otherwise. They do not try to pass off fish as vegan, and are very knowledgeable about their offerings. The staff is friendly and the cheesecake is absolutely delicious. It is definitely worth the visit.
There are plant-based milk options for drinks and a few vegan cake choices available. The ambiance of the space is pleasant.
There was no savory vegan food available, and there were only lemon cakes for dessert, but the lemon cake was delicious. The restaurant also had a cute bookshop and offered nice hot drinks.
I absolutely love any place that offers plant-based hot drink specials, so I was excited to try the Mayan soy hot chocolate at this restaurant. It was delicious and the bookshop next door was incredible. Unfortunately, there wasn't any vegan food available when we visited.
